(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Eva Longoria says Desperate Housewives "touched every aspect" of her life.

The actress plays Gabrielle Solis in the popular US TV show, which is coming to an end after eight seasons. Eva feels blessed to have been given the opportunity to be involved with such a great programme.

"How it hasn't changed is the question," she told Extra, when asked how her life has altered since landing a role in Desperate Housewives. "Every aspect of my life was touched by the show and I am eternally grateful. It made me a household name."

The 37-year-old star also revealed that one more character will die before the show ends.

However, she reassured fans it would not be one of the main stars Eva, Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross and Felicity Huffman.

"Someone dies! One more person dies, yeah. It's not one of us not one of the four girls," she explained. "And don't guess, because I'm not going to say yes or no! You have to watch."

Eva went on to recall how emotional the final scenes were to shoot. She has developed a close bond with the cast and crew on the show and many people broke down in tears once the cameras stopped rolling for the final time.

"It was horrible. It was like waterworks. The last table read was hard, me Marcia and Felicity stayed in the room for like an hour going, Thank you, thank you for holding us up and holding each other up.' We were reminiscing about the eight years together," she smiled. (C) Cover Media
