The 38-year-old actress has been dating Ryan Gosling for a few months now and she's making sure to keep in with the in-laws.

Eva accompanied The Notebook star as he went to support his mother Donna Gosling during her graduation in his native Canada.

RadarOnline reports that Ryan and Eva attended the event at St. Catherines, Ontario at Brock University and caused quite a stir among the other attendees.

"Everyone at Brock is going a little star crazy right now," an eyewitness told the site.

"It's not every day that a small town gets a big time Hollywood celebrity here, and we certainly weren't expecting to see Ryan and Eva today!"

Ryan also attended his mother's graduation last year when she picked up her Bachelor of Arts in English from McMaster University. (C) Cover Media
