(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Evan Rachel Wood says she enjoys being controversial.

The 23-year-old American actress is known for her unconventional taste in men, having dated 42-year-old metal star Marilyn Manson, who is famed for his bizarre stage antics and shocking lyrics, between 2007 and 2010.

In a raunchy new photo shoot with Esquire magazine, the beautiful actress reveals her nine tattoos and discusses her bisexual status.

"I think I'm a little controversial," she told the publication.

"I just try and keep some mystery, so hopefully people can't really put their finger on it."

The star says she has a very open and relaxed attitude to romance. She never worries about the gender of somebody she finds attractive, preferring to focus on the connection she has with them.

I'm into anything," she explained. "Meet a nice guy, meet a nice girl..."

When asked if she dates women, Evan bluntly replied yes. She says that when shes in a relationship with a female she takes on more of a masculine role.

"I'm more kind of like the guy when it comes to [dating] girls. I'm the dominant one I'm opening the doors. I'm buying dinner. Yeah, I'm romantic," she smiled.

Evan also briefly discussed her past romance with Marilyn. The actress thinks many people didnt approve simply because the musician has such an unusual appearance due to his fondness for the gothic aesthetic.
