Farhan Akhtar is excited to start shooting his first film in 2014. 

The actor will be back shooting after a gap of almost 5 to 6 months.

All this time, Farhan has been looking into the pre-production of films his banner Excel Entertainment is producing. At the same time he has also extensively been doing city visits with his band Farhan Live. However, now he is looking forward to going back to a film set.

Farhan is gearing up to start shooting for Zoya Akhtar's next 'Dil Dhadakne Do' in which he has a pivotal role.

This is the third time that Farhan and Zoya would be working together.
