Actor Farhan Akhtar who has played the iconic role of athlete Milkha Singh in his biopic 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' has pointed out a mistake in Bengali school textbook that has his own still from the film in place of Milkha Singh.

The actor even tagged Trinamool Congress MP Derek O'Brien with all his concern in his tweet. Farhan's tweet read ''To the Minister of School Education, West Bengal. There is a glaring error with the image used in one of the school textbooks to depict Milkha Singh-ji. Could you please request the publisher to recall and replace this book? Sincerely. @derekobrienmp.''

The 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' actor tweeted this as soon as a random twitter user mentioned this error and tagged Farhan personally.

After Farhan's tweet, Congress MP Derek O'Brien of West Bengal responded, ''Thanks Farhan. Ref the wrong pic of Milkha Singh. Checked with Education Min of State. He tells me it isn’t a text book for government schools.Nor is it published by government. Trying to track the private publishing company. They ought to correct the mistake in future editions.''

Farhan's tweet received more than 500 retweets and 2000 likes engaging most of the users in it. Many also bashed the TMC Ministers for not allocating proofreaders for such work.
