Fergie says she is "very turned on" by her husband's new mohawk hairstyle.

Josh Duhamel had his hair cut for his role in Scenic Route, a film about two friends stranded in the desert.

His new look has received mixed reviews from fans but his wife thinks it gives the actor a rock n' roll edge.

"I love Josh's mohawk," she told reporters this week during a launch for Voli Light Vodkas in New York, according to People.

"I'd love for him to keep it. He's definitely my North Dakota husband but then he got that mohawk for [his role in the movie] Scenic Route he got that rock n' roll look and I was very turned on."

The Black Eyed Peas singer has been able to spend more time with Josh as they have taken a break from work over the past few months. Fergie says she is enjoying their time together as man and wife. She also joked she has more time to water the plants.

"I'm nurturing my relationship with my family, getting to see them more," she said.

"Getting to work from home is great because I get more of a structure in my life. I get up, I work out, I go to bed at a certain time."

The couple married in 2009 in Malibu and renewed their wedding vows on a beach in Santa Barbara in 2010.
