Ferrari Ki Sawaari, the latest feature from Vidhu Vinod Chopra Productions with Sharman Joshi and Deepika Padukone as the lead actors has blocked their release date. The producers of the film have decided to take a very bold step as they plan to release the movie on 27th April, 2012 right in between of the IPL matches. No producer has ever made a conscious decision to release their film in between the IPL mania where cricket is as big as a religion.

'Ferrari Ki Sawaari' marks the next big release from Vidhu Vinod Chopra Productions after blockbusters '3 Idiots' and Munnabhai series. The director, Rajesh Mapuskar along with the Ferrari team has shot their scenes on real locations, on busy roads and amidst live audience. For sometime, both Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra had put all their projects on the backburner and Chopra religiously worked on the pre-production of the film, while Rajkumar Hirani wrote the dialogues of the film. Both the veterans are today proud of their protégé’s achievements. Director Rajesh Mapuskar confirms, "Yes we are releasing the film in midst of IPL. Ferrari Ki Sawaari is one of the most awaited films of the year and we have decided to release the movie on 27th April, 2012."

Ferrari Ki Sawaari is an entertaining, funny and heart warming film about a young father’s endeavor to fulfill the dream of his son.
