Filmmaker EVV Sathya Narayana far-famed as one of the best filmmakers of Telugu film industry breathed his last due to heart attack. Aged 55, the filmmaker was born on June 10, 1956 in the village of Dommeru located across the district of West Godavari. Well known with his full name Edara Veera Venkata Satyanarayana, he entered film industry working as assistant director to 'Hasya Brahma' Jandhyala and later made his debut directorial with the movie 'Chevilo Puvvu'. But he shot to fame wit the hit movie 'Prema Kaidhi' and there was no turning back for the filmmaker. His last movie was 'Kathi Kantha Rao' that was released on Dec 10, 2010. He also made a Hindi film titled Sooryavansham in 1999 starring Amitabh Bachchan and Soundarya. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Rajesh and Naresh.
