Gautham Menon and producer Ashok Vallabhaneni had plans of releasing the film 'Erra Gulabeelu' on January 26 for the occasion of Republic Day. On the spur of moment, the release date has been postponed to first week of February 4 due to some delay in post production works. When approached producer Ashok Vallabhaneni, he said, “Gautham Menon wanted few more improvisations over the DTS mixing since it will have more significance in theatres.” The film features Sameera Reddy, Gautham Menon's long time associate Veera and Karthik in lead roles. Touted to be an edge-seated psychological thriller, producer Ashok affirms that the film is laced with poignant love story with an unexpected twist. The film has special music designed by Ranganath Ravi with Manoj Paramahamsa handling cinematography, Anthony on editing and art direction by Rajeevan.
