(Cover) - EN Movies - Freida Pinto felt sorry for her male co-stars in Immortals because their diets were so tough.

The actress is Greek priestess Phaedra in the upcoming release, which is about the battles between gods and titans. It also stars Henry Cavill, Kellan Lutz and Luke Evans, who all had to be careful when it came to their eating habits. The boys needed to be in peak form, but sometimes struggling to stick to their eating plans.

"I didn't have to keep it as strict as the boys had," Freida explained to the Comic-Con event in San Diego this weekend. "I would see them and offer them fruit and they'd say, No, we can't have fruit.' And I'm like, Fruit? Fruit's healthy!' And they'd say, Yeah but it's sugar.' I just felt bad for them."

Freida did watch her calorie intake ahead of shooting, but didn't find it tough. She tries to watch what she eats anyway as she always wants to look her best on screen. It's particularly important when she has skimpy or form-fitting costumes to wear, as she doesn't want to be worried about lumps and bumps.

"I generally just take good care of myself," she explained. "[I] just watch what I eat especially when you're going to be in a tight costume. You don't want to be bloated and sucking your stomach in. You just want to be able to stand tall and let the corset do what it has to do." (C) Cover Media
