The filmdom of four states and Hindi film industry together in the Celebrity Cricket League that was supposed to start in March has now been deferred to June. The inaugural match – curtain raiser will be played on March 5th between the South star team and Bollywood film team at Vishakapatnam. Salman Khan is the Hindi film stars team captain but he is actually the ambassador for the coming matches. From the south stars team it is Victory Venkatesh top star from Telugu films is the captain. Kannada superstar Sudeep is the vice captain while another top star Suriya is also in the team. From Sandalwood Chiranjeevi Sarja, Dhruv the dumb and deaf actor are also in the playing team. Ragini and Aindrita Ray are the ambassadors from Karnataka.
