Bollywood box office bounced back with Akshay Kumar starrer, 'Gabbar is Back' which became the first film of 2015 to cross the Rs. 10 crore mark on its opening day and so far the film has raked Rs. 39.5 crore.

While, Hollywood seems more challenging at the box office as Avengers: Age of Ultron has collected about Rs. 10 crore in its second weekend.

Trade expert Amol Mehra stated, "Sunday, however, salvaged the situation. The principal producers are in a safe position now, but the film still has to do very well to earn profits for the all India distributor who has paid a fancy price to acquire the film."
