Last evening ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh was to attend a concert but was admitted to the hospital owing to Brain Hemorrhage. The singer is in the Intensive Care Unit of Lilavati Hospital, Bandra.

Singh had to perform at the concert with Ghulam Ali but was replaced by Hariharan at the end moment. He immediately underwent an emergency surgery and is still critical. His family refused to divulge any details about his conditions but the doctors say that he is still critical.

Since the news broke out, wishes have been pouring in from all corners for the legend to get well soon. The music and the film industry is shattered by the news. Sonu Niigaam expressed his wishes for the senior singer by tweeting, “We'll all pray for Jagjitji. We want his Royal voice to grace our planet for many more years. God bless him and save him..” and so did Shreya Ghoshal. The lady tweeted, “Very sad abt Jagjit Uncle's health.. Hope he becomes fine soonest..”
