Giuliana and Bill Rancic have gushed about their gestational carrier saying she's giving them their "greatest gift."
The couple announced this week that they are expecting their first baby late summer using their embryo implanted in a surrogate.
Giuliana told People magazine that she is so thankful for what the unnamed woman is doing following her breast cancer and infertility battle.
"She is giving us the greatest gift we're ever getting in our lives," Giuliana, 37, told the publication. "She's so selflessly helping make our dream a reality. We adore her."
When asked if they planned to remain in contact with the woman after the baby was born Bill said it would be "up to her."
"We are very grateful for what she's done for us and we intend to maintain a relationship with her," he shared.
"Once we met her it was an instinct we had," Giuliana added. "We could tell she was a great person."
Bill added that they had been attending doctor's visits as it was "important to us to see the development and growth."
"At the end of the day, it's our baby. Genetically it's ours. It's our embryo. We feel very connected."
