(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary with a romantic dinner in New York last night.

The couple were beaming as they arrived at Italian restaurant Babbo late yesterday evening. They held hands and smiled for the cameras, even pausing on the eaterys threshold for some photographs.

The 40-year-old pop star dressed up for the occasion, donning a sexy black dress with a cut-out back, footless tights and snakeskin heels, while Gavin, 44, wore a black suit, white T-shirt and scarf.

Gwen and Gavin wed in 2002 at St Pauls Church in London, and then again in an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles. They have two children together, Kingston, four, and two-year-old Zuma.

The couple have admitted their romance has been rocky at times, with Gwen recently saying their relationship was an ongoing saga that the couple take one day at a time.

It's one of those mad love affairs that you can't live with and you can't live without, and you just keep going and going, she said. And time goes by and you get the rocky times then you get the intense love times, then you get the reward of having the baby. It's just this ongoing saga. (C) Cover Media
