(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Gwyneth Paltrow would be interested in making a super-bare country album.

The actress has been showing off her vocal talents in her latest movie Country Strong, where she plays a veteran country singer. Gwyneth also impressed recently when she performed several musical numbers in popular US television show Glee.

Now the 38-year-old star has proven her singing skills, she is considering following in her husband Chris Martins footsteps by releasing an album. However, she wouldnt be interested in working on rock songs like her Coldplay frontman spouse; instead she would indulge her love for country music.

"I think if I was going to make a country record, it would be like a super-bare, kind of stripped-back kind of country," Gwyneth told MTV News. "Like a little bit of bluegrass-influenced kind of thing. I also love singing 40s standards and stuff like that.

One of the songs Gwyneth performed on Glee was Forget You by Cee Lo Green. Even though she enjoyed belting out the track, she admits she feels self-conscious at the thought of the soul singer watching her appearance.

"I have heard from Cee Lo through other people," she added. "He was incredibly sweet about it. It's embarrassing to think of Cee Lo hearing me sing his song." (C) Cover Media
