Halle Berry receives court favour

11th February 2012

Halle Berry's ex Gabriel Aubry must now have supervised visitations with his daughter.

Gabriel appeared in family court on Friday regarding allegations that he pushed Halle's nanny while she was carrying their three-year-old daughter Nahla. The Los Angeles County Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS) have been investigating the matter.

Radar Online reports that Gabriel originally visited court yesterday to contest an official DCFS suggestion that he attend anger management classes.

DCFS found that Gabriel has never physically or verbally abused Nahla. Despite these findings, the judge believed that it would be in Nahla's best interest for visitations with her father to be supervised until investigation on the misdemeanour battery and child endangerment charges against him concludes.

Under this temporary decree, overnight visitations are prohibited.

Gabriel denies assaulting the nanny.

Halle has formally petitioned to leave the US with Nahla to start a new life in Europe with fianc Olivier Martinez.

The actress was reportedly "in fear of her life" as Madonna's ex stalker Robert Hoskins, who is described as "highly psychotic when not taking his medication and [having] very violent tendencies", escaped from a mental institution and has targeted her as his next victim.

Robert was detained by authorities Friday and returned to the Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk.

The court has not yet entered an official judgment on Halle's request to move and Gabriel has vowed to fight it.
