(Cover) - EN Star Style - Halle Berry won in the style stakes at last nights 13th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards, where she received the Lacoste Spotlight Award.
Many of the most fashionable ladies in showbiz turned out for the glamorous event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, which honours costume design in movies every year.
The 44-year-old actress looked incredible at the ceremony, donning an elegant lace and chiffon Elie Saab Haute Couture gown in bright red. Halle had reason to be looking pleased too, as she received the Lacoste Spotlight Award in honour of her professional excellence and appreciation of costume design, and was presented the gong by movie icon Samuel L. Jackson.
Other winners at the bash included American costume designer Colleen Atwood, who scooped her sixth Costume Designers Guild (CDG) Award in the fantasy film category for the wacky attire in Alice in Wonderland. Amy Westcott won her first CDG prize in the contemporary film category, after impressing audiences with her stunning balletic creations in thriller Black Swan.
Sex and the City star Kristin Davis hosted the bash, and looked stunning in a monochrome polka-dot gown with an ultra-feminine satin side bow. Actress Claire Danes also scored high in the style stakes, as she looked effortlessly chic in a grey mini dress and slicked back hair. (C) Cover Media
