Hansika Motwani is really going places as far as Kollywood is concerned. The young actor, after bagging plum offers, has now signed on the dotted line for Simbu's next film 'Vettai Mannan', which also has Jai in a crucial role.

"Hansika will be seen playing a first of its kind role in her career so far. She will be doing the role of a stylish woman who has some negative shades too. Impressed with the script and her character, she immediately gave her nod to be part of the project," said sources.

Produced by NIC Arts S S Chakravarthy, the man behind some of the biggest blockbusters of Ajith, Vettai Mannan, directed by Nelson, is a gangster story. "Simbu is playing a suave henchman who is ready to do anything for money and Hansika is his ladylove," sources add.

On Jai's role, they say, "The Subramanyapuram and Engeyum Eppodhum actor is playing a crucial character, that of Simbu's friend. In fact it is because of Jai, Simbu is forced to take arms. The film will come with lot of twists and turns and is slated for Pongal release," they further said.
