The very energetic and bubbly actress of Bollywood, Genelia D'Souza turns 28 today as she celebrates her birthday.

Genelia has been often tagged in the media as the "bubbly girl", after portraying the role of a young energetic girl in several movies, especially 'JaaneTu Ya Jaane Na'. She also appeared alongside Shahid Kapoor on the fourth episode of Tere Mere Beach Mein, a celebrity chat show, hosted by Farah Khan.

Making her Hindi film debut with 'Tujhe Meri Kasam' alongside Riteish Deshmukh, the talented and versatile actress has proven her acting prowess in many Hindi films like 'Masti', 'Mere Baap Pehle Aap', 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na', 'Chance Pe Dance', 'Force' and 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya'.

In her debut film, 'Tujhe Meri Kasam', Genelia played the childhood buddy and later an inseparable soulmate of Riteish Deshmukh. In 'Masti', she played the utterly dominating better half of a very timid and fun loving Riteish Deshmukh again. In 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na' she played a highly aggressive, impulsive girl. In 'Force', she played the character of Maya, a simple girl who falls in love with ACP Yashvardhan played by John Abraham.
