We have seen her grow from a little girl to a young lady. Kristen Stewart, famously known as Bella Swan has turned a year older today.

Born and raise in Los Angeles, California on April 9, 1990, Kristen Stewart got the taste of the film world through her parents. Her father, is a stage manager and television producer while mother is a script superviser. 

Stewart's acting career began at the age of eight, after an agent saw her perform in her elementary school's Christmas play. After a year of auditioning, Stewart's first role was a nonspeaking part in the film The Thirteenth Year. Then, she had another part in the film The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas as the "ring toss girl". Stewart had a major role in the Hollywood film Panic Room. Although she did several more films after this, her major breakthrough was when she bagged the role of Bella Swan in the Twilight series. 

On December 6, 2011, Stewart was named number one on Forbes magazine's list of Hollywood's Best Actors for the Buck.

Ever since she started working in Twilight, she has been romantically linked with her co-star Robert Pattinson.
