Happy Birthday to Demi Moore!

11th November 2011

The lady with the 'Husky Voice' turns 49 today! Recently nominated for the Gotham Awards for Best Ensemble Performance in Margin Call (2011), she's awaiting the release of her upcoming next, LOL: Laughing Out Loud (2011).

Born as Demi Guynes Kutcher, on November 11, 1962, in Roswell, New Mexico, she settled in Los Angeles in 1976 with her family. While she was still attending Fairfax High School, at the age of 16, her friend Nastassja Kinski persuaded her to drop out of school to become an actress. After training with John Casablancas, Moore made her debut in the 1982 3-D sci-fi horror feature, Parasite. However, the role of Jackie Templeton on the ABC soap opera, General Hospital (1982-1983) brought her into the limelight.

Moore was the highest paid actress in Hollywood, during early 1990s. She appeared in films like Ghost (1990), A Few Good Men (1992), Incident Proposal (1993), Disclosure (1994), The Scarlet Letter (1995), G. I. Jane (1997), Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003), Bobby (2006) and Margin Call (2011). Streak (2008) was her directorial debut.

Moore had quite an unstable home life as a child. In 1980, at the age of 18, she married singer Freddy Moore, who was 12 years elder to her, and adopted his surname. They divorced after four years. She married actor Bruce Willis in 1987, with whom she has three daughters - Rumer Glenn Willis, Scout LaRue Willis and Tallulah Belle Willis. Moore and Willis divorced in 2000, following which she married actor Ashton Kutcher after dating him for two years.

She changed her last name legally to Kutcher two years after marrying Kutcher, but continues to use Moore in her professional life. She was rumored to have undergone a plastic surgery, but denied the same saying she prefers to be a beautiful woman of her age, than try desperately to look thirty. Despite reaching her 50s, she surely continues to spread the charm of her beauty.
