Ron, or Ronald Weasley, that's how people the world-over know Rupert Grint as.

Rupert Alexander Grint, a royal name but Rupert was born in Hertfordshire in a simple household. Before working in the Harry Potter Franchise, he had not worked in any movies but acting was always one of his strongholds. He started performing in school dramas and later joined the Top Hat Stage and Screen School, a local theatre group. He left school at 16 to focus on his acting career. His career took a great turn with his selection in the Harry Potter series to play the role of Ron. Apart from the HP series, he also starred in various other movies like 'Thunderpants', 'Driving Lessons', to name a couple.

It must be so weird to have lived for almost 10 years as Rupert and Ron at the same time. Two identities, one person. The time has now come to say a goodbye to Ron and welcome Rupert with open arms.
