Heidi hosts reality TV series Project Runway, which pitches budding designers against each other to create the best outfit, but she doesnt feel the show has had a massive impact on her sense of style.

I dont know if only Project Runway has influenced me. I think evolving in the industry changed my style, she said. I dont like to go very safe. I like to be more authentic to who I am, and Im a very gutsy person. I like to wear neon-yellow shoes with the dress because that is more me.

The blond star also divulged which up and coming trends are thrilling her the most. She is in great anticipation of the new accessory ranges this fall, especially those in leather.

Im excited about long boots over the knee, she told OK! magazone. I think theyre very sexy. Also, cool bags I have a very cool new leopard bag from Jimmy Choo.

From all her experience, Heidi has one main tip for designers if they want to make it in the world of fashion. They have to be adaptable, and able to learn quickly.
