October 1, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actor Will Smith and his Overbrook Entertainment production label have become quite serious about the popular romantic comedy Hitch in a TV series. The movie was released back in 2005 and starred Smith and Eva Mendes. Smith actually made an attempt to adapt this movie in a half hour comedy, about three years back and it never got lensed as a CBS pilot. Hitch, for those who doesnt know is a story that revolves around a renowned relationship expert, who gets initially stumped while he attempts to have a grip on his own romantic life.

Now, as per the Deadline, this time the team of Smith and Overbrook have gone ahead and hired The Proposals Pete Chiarelli , who would turn it into an action-filled hour. There are many networks that are all apparently bidding on this series.

Hitch representative Chiarellis first ever stab at TV, after penning Most Wanted, that was an action-comedy will soon in a way reunite the Proposal team comprising of Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds and the director Anne Fletcher.

Hitch was a massive success at the worldwide box office and grossed an amount of $368.1 million.
