After being called as the troublemaker in Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and actress Kalki Koechlin's marriage, actress Huma Qureshi was linked to yet another filmmaker recently.
 
The actress was rumoured to be in a relationship with her 'Dedh Ishqiya' director Abhishek Chaubey. 

It was apparently stated that the actress grew close to the filmmaker while shooting for the film and since then their relationship has gone beyond the professional commitment. 

It was also said that Abhishek too had developed a soft corner for Huma. But when Huma was asked about this, the actress chose to laugh off all the link-up rumours. 

"How do I react to something as stupid as this? I can only laugh it off. There is no truth to it at all. As a middle class girl from Delhi, I practically had no backing in films. This industry and audiences have given me a lot. I feel such rumours undermine the struggle that an outsider has to go through here," she said expressing her discomfort.

Apart from Anurag Kashyap and Abhishek Chaubey, Huma has also been linked to Shahid Kapoor and Sohail Khan in the past.
