Bollywood beauty Anushka Sharma got a dream entry in Bollywood when she marked her debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the film 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' which was produced by Yash Raj Films.

Regardless of the fact that the film was a super hit, she didn't achieve the kind of popularity people had expected. She had fierce competition from Asin who had made a sizzling debut in the film 'Ghajini' opposite Aamir Khan. It was the year of Asin who had then won all the best debutant awards and was an overnight star. But Anushka didn't lose hope and continued to deliver better performances and today stands at a respectable position in the industry.

In her recent media interview, she confessed that she didn't actually enjoy the overnight stardom. She compared her situation with Ranveer who escalated to the top position with only one film last year. "I didn't enjoy overnight stardom, though I was loved, appreciated but I didn't become the Next Big Thing like Ranveer" said Anushka.
