For Devi Sri Prasad, Ilaiyaraaja's music is something which is beyond words. The young composer has always admired the maestro, and said he grew up listening to the great singer.

And it was a pleasant surprise for D.S.P. when he was called onto the stage by none other than Ilaiyaraaja, at the audio launch of 'Maranthen Mannithen' ('Gundello Godari' in Telugu) in Chennai.

The maestro, who called D.S.P. to come onto the stage, also asked him to join in the performance.

An excited D.S.P. wrote on his microblogging page, "Could'nt believe what happened there.. Raja sir was singing on stage and suddenly he called me and asked me to sing along..!! Greatest feeling ever..!!"
