After Asin and Kajal Aggarwal, it was South actress Ileana D'Cruz who got her big ticket debut in Bollywood.

While Asin and Kajal made their debut with blockbusters 'Ghajini' and 'Singham' respectively, Ileana made her debut opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the film 'Barfi!'. The film not only achieved commercial and critical acclaim, but was also Indian's official entry to the Oscars (the movie however did not make it to the Oscar nominations list).

'Barfi!' did prove to be a perfect launch pad for Ileana, who bagged 'Phata Poster Nikla Hero' opposite Shahid Kapoor. And even prior to the release of her second film, the actress has already bagged another biggie.

Ileana has been signed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his next film 'Gabbar'. The film is a remake of the 2002 Tamil film 'Ramana' that will star Akshay Kumar as the male lead (Read News).

Looks like the talented actress is certainly the next star in the making.
