Cold wars boasts of a great history in Bollywood. From yesteryear actors to the modern age superstars, cold wars are inevitable in every generation. 

Though the clashes between the other superstars like Khans, Kapoors and Kumars have been very famous, there has been one recent clash that has made it to the headlines as well. 

The talked about friction is the one between Bollywood's renowned stars Irrfan khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. 

Reports of the differences between them cropped up when they started shooting for 'The Lunchbox' and it continues till date. 

It was rumoured that Nawaz was not happy with Irrfan being given more footage in the film despite of his being a parallel lead role in the same. However, despite of the obvious coldness between them, the two never accepted that in front of the media. 

They were hardly ever seen socializing or conversing during the film's promotions. And it was repeated yet again when the team of the film was called upon for the DVD launch event recently. The two completely ignored each other. (See Gallery)

Neither did they exchange the usual pleasantries nor did they come together for a photograph. While Irrfan was the first to arrive, he sat besides the film's female lead Nimrat Kaur. Throughout the event, the two ignored each other. 

Even when Nawaz came in, neither of them showed any form of intention to go ahead and strike a conversation. They both dodged the questions about their animosity when asked. 

"I did meet Nawaz outside the venue. But on the dais, we were sitting apart from each other, so we had no room for conversation," said Irrfan.
