Preity Zinta's most awaited movie 'Ishkq in Paris' has been delayed for quite some time. Though previously it was said that the film will not hit the screens anytime soon (read news), the pretty actress confirmed that 'Ishkq in Paris' will release in 2013.

"4all of u asking Ishkq in Paris will release in 2013. We got delayed finishing it due 2 my director falling sick. Besides that it looks great," Preity wrote on her microblogging page.

She further added, "Sometimes we have no control over life n destiny ! I believe things happen 4 a reason. Ishkq in Paris gets more special 2 me now :-) Ting !."

Quite positive of the film and its release, Preity sure is very excited. The film is an Indo-French project and Preity's first production. The story resolves around an Indian-French girl who falls in love with the most expensive city in the world.

Directed by Prem Soni, the film also features newcomer Rhehan Malliek.
