(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jackie Chan gets tired of always being offered the same character.

The 56-year-old Hong Kong star has made a name for himself as one of the worlds best martial artists and stunt performers, as well as being a talented actor.

Jackie is immensely proud of his career so far and all that hes achieved, although he would like the opportunity to be cast in something a little different.

I get a pile of scripts from America: police from Hong Kong, CIA from Hong Kong, FBI from Hong Kong. I say to my manager, I dont want to keep doing the same thing. What else? He gives me more: police from China, CIA from China, FBI from China... Jackie told Empire magazine.

The multi-talented star really impressed movie executives with his roles in hit action films such as Rush Hour and The Karate Kid, and fans are keen to see him in those roles again. Despite enjoying these projects, Jackie thinks it would be great for people to see him from another perspective.

They will never let me do a New Police Story. They will never let me do Rob-B-Hood. They will never let me do The Myth. Its always another Rush Hour. Some company is trying to make another Shanghai Noon Shanghai Dawn. After Karate Kid, people asked me to play the same character a martial arts teacher but teaching a young girl! he explained.
