(Cover) - EN Star Style - A promotional video for Celebrity Rehab 4 shows Janice Dickinson contemplated suicide as a result of her addiction to alcohol and prescription drugs.

The 55-year-old self-proclaimed worlds first supermodel is famed for her beauty and outspoken personality and has gone on to become a successful reality television star.

Janice appears in upcoming American show Celebrity Rehab 4, and in a preview for the programme the star is seen confessing to having suicidal thoughts as a result of her addiction.

In the distressing clip Janice is seen crying while she confides in her counsellor.

I'm having thoughts of suicide, I wanted to go to the bathroom and try to hang myself. I want it to... end, she reveals.

Janice had been sober for many years after overcoming her demons with drugs, although in the video she admits how much she regrets having slipped back into addiction. The beautiful star feels a huge amount of shame over her battle, describing it as overbearing.

It's really painful. It's very painful, she laments.

Fortunately Janice received care from trained professionals, with her counsellor telling her to fight for her life.

Other celebrities appearing in the show, which is filmed at the Pasadena Recovery Centre, include singer Leif Garrett, Tiger Woods' mistress Rachel Uchitel and actor Jeremy London. (C) Cover Media
