(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jason Statham doesn’t care if women don’t like his stubble because “real men” don’t have smooth skin.

The 37-year-old actor is currently dating Victoria’s Secret model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, 23. Jason doesn’t put much effort into his appearance, saying he is “too lazy” to shave regularly or do anything to disguise his receding hairline.

He knows some women don’t like hairy or balding men, but says anyone who is dating him has to “deal with it” as he will never spend hours in front of the mirror.

"I know a lot of ladies who consider [my baldness] really sexy,” Jason told Germany’s In magazine. “I personally think it’s more functional than trying to hide my receding hairline. It works well together with my three-day beard. The truth is: I am just too lazy to shave.

"Women like three-day beards as long as they don't prickle while you're kissing. But they have to deal with it - a real man isn't as soft as a baby's behind."

Despite this, Jason insists he is very romantic. He loves buying flowers for women, but draws the line at taking them out to fancy Hollywood parties because he prefers to go to the pub.

"I am romantic, but I am old-fashioned or typically British as my friends say,” Jason explained. “I like to give flowers, make a reservation in a nice restaurant or buy jewellery. I am not the guy who is thinking about crazy ideas all the time to make a woman happy.

“I like women the most who can enjoy a nice evening in a pub drinking beer. I am not this glamour guy who likes to be at the fancy Hollywood parties." (C) Cover Media
