Jaspal Bhatti dies in a road accident

The man who made the whole world laugh with his humor, Jaspal Bhatti passed away this morning October 25 in a road accident. The sudden demise of the actor yet again brings a shock to everyone.

Jaspal was a very famous Indian television personality who was well known for his satirical humor on the problems of a common man.

Born to a Rajput Sikh family, Bhatti completed his studies in engineering, but was very interested in acting and comedy. During his college days, he was famous for his street plays like 'Nonsense Club'.

He later started off his acting career in the television shows 'Flop Show' and 'Ulta Pulta' which ran on Doordarshan, India's national television network.

Bhatti had also worked in many movies making appearances with his humor filled lines. He had produced and directed a few movies too, his latest being 'Power Cut', that was to launch his son Jasraj Bhatti.

Unfortunatey, while he was travelling to Jalandhar for his movie's promotion, his car met with an accident, killing him and injuring his son Jasraj and the movie's female actress Suril Gautam.

He leaves behind his wife Savita, son and daughter.
