(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jennifer Aniston considered a career in therapy before she was famous.
The 43-year-old has enjoyed a successful acting career since landing a role in the US television show Friends. Although she has always loved being in front of a camera, she did harbour an interest in helping people deal with personal problems.
"There was the period where I wanted to be a therapist, if the acting thing didn't work. That was pretty much it. I don't know why," she revealed to Collider. "I was just always the girl that people would come and talk to about their problems, and I still am. But, I also had a good feeling about acting."
Jennifer admitted she was "innocent" before making it in Hollywood and she found it tough to get by as a struggling actress.
But she remained determined to succeed and celebrated every time she made progress, however small the role.
"I think I was innocently ignorant. I was waitressing, and doing this, that and the other thing. I would audition, and couldn't get hired to save my life, so I would do Off-Off-Broadway theatre," Jennifer laughed. "That was great. I was excited and thrilled. I was like, Well, it's Off-Off-Broadway, but there's still the Broadway in there.'" (C) Cover Media
