(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jennifer Lopez says giving birth is the most empowering thing she has ever done.

The 41-year-old star is mother to three-year-old twins Emme and Max, her kids with husband Marc Anthony.

The gorgeous star has achieved a huge amount of success via her singing and acting, although she says none of her professional achievements can overshadow the immense sense of pride she felt after becoming a mother.

Ever? God. Probably giving birth, she replied when the British edition of Cosmopolitan asked what the most empowering thing she has ever done is.

And as a direct result of that, setting up a charity with my sister.

Jennifer and her sibling Lynda launched The Maribel Foundation last year, an initiative to help improve the health and well-being of women and children. The not-for-profit organisation is named after Marcs sister who died of a brain tumour, and Jennifer says it was fundamental for her to use her celebrity for good.

It was a dream we had for a long time. Once wed had babies we were ready to say, Lets do it. Were not claiming to change the world in one day; were just going to do our little part.
