(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jessica Alba says giving birth made her feel liberated.
The 29-year-old American actress is mother to two-year-old Honor Marie, her daughter with husband Cash Warren, and the pair announced that they are expecting their second child in February.
Jessica cannot wait to be a mother again, and credits parenthood for making her a more open-minded person. She says that having Honor also made her stop worrying about her looks, as well as making her more resourceful.
"After the pregnancy, I felt liberated. I learnt to accept my body and to give less importance to my appearance," said the star.
"Being a mother has taught me how to adapt to any situation."
The talented actress is often cited as a major fashion icon, although she admits that when shes off screen she favours comfort over style. The gorgeous star believes a woman will look far more alluring if she holds something back, so she usually prefers more reserved attire.
My own style is probably a mixture of high and low. I'm definitely into sort of layering and I like mystery so I don't put it all out there. I play dress up for a living - for photoshoots and for working and movies or whatnot - I sort of wear more revealing things that show my body.
But in life I like things that have a little bit more mystery. I like things that are elegant and chic, but then a little rock n roll, she told the Italian edition of Vogue. (C) Cover Media
