The singer-turned-fashion-designer says diamond stud earrings add an elegant touch to any outfit, although rather than spend a fortune on the real thing she prefers to buy imitations.

Jessica joked that because shes a celebrity people always just assume her gems are real, and says there are some fantastic diamond copies to be found nowadays.

"A good pair of diamond studs, she replied when asked by Life & Style Weekly about her must-have fashion accessory. The one nice thing about being a celebrity is that I can buy all fake diamonds and people will think they're real. There are a lot of good knockoffs out there."

In addition to admitting a penchant for counterfeit sparklers, Jessica revealed her ultimate style icon to be British actress Sienna Miller. The singer says she admires the way Sienna has created her own unique look.
