Jessica Simpson is set to launch a bridal line.

The new mother is reportedly planning to turn her longtime dream of designing wedding fashion into reality when she returns from her maternity leave.

Jessica has built a successful fashion emporium including apparel, accessories and swimwear amongst other things.

But according to an insider, she has been thinking about a bridal range for some time.

"A wedding line is something she's always wanted to do," a source told In Touch. "She is talented and knows what women want to wear."

Jessica's fashion label has been going from strength to strength and has become one of the most successful celebrity brands ever.

Shortly after giving birth to daughter Maxwell in May this year, the star launched a new maternity range.

The insider explained that the appeal of her designs lies in the mother-of-one's own weight struggles.

"She has curves like every girl so women will buy those dresses up!" the source said.
