The singer-turned-fashion-mogul turned 31 yesterday and was presented with the bright orange luxury handbag, much to her delight.

The coveted accessory is a favourite with many celebrities, including Victoria Beckham who is rumoured to have a collection worth millions of dollars.

"Eric made my birthday!" Simpson gushed about the lavish present. "I have never been more surprised in my life! Jackie O who?"

The star even posted a picture of herself in her pyjamas kissing the bag.

Jessica had a great birthday saying she had heard from everyone in her life and had a "huge smile on her face!"

The reality star, who has turned her company into a billion dollar fashion empire, is also now set to return to the small screen.

She will appear alongside Nicole Richie and menswear designer John Varvatos in a new reality competition series called Fashion Star, hosted by supermodel Elle Macpherson.
