A few days back we reported that Ram had walked out of a Gautham Menon-directed film, citing delay in the making of the movie, as the director is simultaneously making it in three languages- Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

Following this, Jiiva, who is playing the lead role in the Tamil version trilingual, will also be seen in the Telugu version, replacing Ram.

However, the official announcement is still awaited. Though Ram was excited when Gautham Menon decided to add a Hindi version to the film, and even did four days of shooting in Chennai, he walked out.

'Jiiva has become so popular in Tollywood post the success of Rangam (Ko). So Gautham found him as perfect replacement. The actor is so thrilled now,' sources say.
