'Jism 2' posters removed from the city

2nd August 2012

There might be a lot of intimate scenes and revealing bodies, but at the end of it, the director says there is a strong story behind the movie 'Jism 2'. Pooja Bhatt is on top of the world to put together a cast of sizzling stars like Sunny Leone, Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh in her next film, but it seems like the commoners dwell on reality than fantasy.

Well, it is heard that city administrators aren't very pleased with the recent posters of the movie that are put up all around the place. Mayor Sunil Prabhu requested B.E.S.T. to remove all the advertisements displayed on buses and bus-shelters in Mumbai. And unfortunately, they have promptly adhered to their wishes.

All this started, when a member of the legislative council (M.L.C.), came across the posters and pictures of the film at public places. It was an embarassing sight for women and children walking around the place to see them too.

So she immediately wrote a letter to the B.E.S.T. administration, asking them to take action against the posters of 'Jism 2' installed on bus stops.

Here's what she had to say when expressing her upset views, "It is vulgar and was put up almost at every bus stop. It was very awkward for me to even look at them. I endorse Vidya Chavan's view that such posters are disturbing and affecting social health. It is not acceptable for any public organisation to allow such advertisements on their property. So I immediately called BEST chairman Ashok Patil and sent a letter to BEST administration."

The chairman had no choice but to obey the rules put forward by the common man. He also called the film's advertising company, asking them not to put up these posters anymore.

Seems like a tough call for the movie-makers, but only time will tell how far the film will go while narrating their story.
