(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Joel Madden finds it funny to go to bars as a crazy tattooed guy.

The 31-year-old singer was on the sixth annual Kerrang! tour recently with his band Good Charlotte and rock bands Four Year Strong, Framing Hanley and The Wonder Years. The shows kicked off with dates in Dublin, Ireland, on February 3 and 4 before going on to perform across the UK.

The bands frontman has revealed he likes turning up in his usual punk-inspired attire to dress-code specific bars while on tour, as he is more likely to stand out from the crowds.

"Taking all the bands out to a posh bar on out second night in Dublin. We were just this gang of crazy, tattooed guys getting funny looks because none of us was wearing the dress code. Everyone had a f**king blast! he told Kerrang! magazine.

Joel has two children with his 29-year-old wife, Nicole - daughter Harlow, three, and 16-month-old son Sparrow. The punk singer says he finds it heart-warming when he is on tour with other fathers, because they can share their experiences.

"My kids are the most important thing in the world to me, he added. As a father and an older guy who has seen it all on the road, when you see another man being a father it's uplifting and encouraging, like you're not alone." (C) Cover Media
