'Jogaiah' figures inflated in the market

20th June 2011
Director Prem knows how to inflate the market figures on his project. For a sale of less than 50000 CD's of the film 'Jogiah' in the audio market, he announced the sale to be one lakh. For Shivarajakumar's 100th film, without even striking a deal, he has annonced that the television rights have been acquired by him for Rs.3.5 crores and prominent areas are sold out.

BK Srinivas, who had incurred losses with 'Mandakini', has acquired the rights of distribution of 'Jogaiah' but he is not ready to divulge the figures. It all happened on a friendship basis, he says. It may be recalled that director Prem had faced legal charges from producer BK Srinivas in the cheque bouncing case.

Rights for the prominent Mysore area has been sold for a high price, announced director Prem at the formal audio release day. For the big fight at the box-office on August 12th, as Prem's 'Jogaiah' and Dwarakish 'Vishnuvardhana' are clashing, Prem is likely to throw some float some more gossip, to gain advantage.
