(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Two fans dressed as pirates tried to sneak on to the set of Johnny Depps new movie.

The pair were keen to meet their idol and decided to attempt to get past security on the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie earlier this week. Johnny has been filming scenes in the Greenwich area of London and the cheeky admirers managed to get into the wardrobe area and dress up in costumes from the movie in a bid to fool Johnnys bodyguards.

However, their plan was spoiled when two minders realised they werent part of the cast and took action.

"The pair were rugby tackled by Johnny's personal bodyguards outside his trailer. There was no way they were getting past them, a source told British newspaper The Sun. "Because they were dressed in costume, they thought no one would bat an eyelid but security were too good."

Johnny has been enjoying his time in the UK city. The 47-year-old Hollywood heartthrob has been taking in the sights of London and sailing along the River Thames each day to get to work.

He also dressed up as Captain Jack Sparrow and went to surprise kids at a school last week, after one pupil wrote to him and asked for help in causing mutiny. (C) Cover Media
