(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Johnny Depp thinks casting Brad Pitt in his new film would be great.
The talented actor has signed up to star in new movie, The Lone Ranger, as Native American sidekick Tonto. With the lead role of the Ranger himself still up for grabs, the 47-year-old has two possible names who he feels could do the part justice.
"There's so many interesting possibilities out there. Brad [Pitt] would be great. [George] Clooney would be great. Don't know who it's going to be just yet," he told ET online.
The Hollywood superstar may not yet know who he will be staring with, but he does know how he will tackle his role. Johnny, who has Cherokee ancestry, will attempt to show Native Americans in a more positive light than Hollywood has portrayed in the past.
"Native Americans in cinema, over the past however many decades, have been treated somewhat shabbily. This one has plans to rectify that," he revealed. (C) Cover Media
