Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are building a giant eco-friendly playground for their children, it has been reported.
The pair raise six kids together and want to ensure they have a safe area to let loose in the grounds of their chateau in the South of France. Brad is believed to have been inspired by a trip the family took to Legoland in the UK last year. Their brood thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the theme park, but they had to leave early due to security fears.
"Brad and Ange felt really bad having to drag the kids home early when they were at Legoland last year. But if their bodyguards said there were too many people then they had no choice," a source told British newspaper The Sun. "Their eldest son Maddox asked if they could build something similar at the house in France. They were already getting a new pool so they decided it was a great idea."
Brad is a keen environmentalist and also has a passion for architecture. He is finalising plans for an underground play area which will be powered by sunlight using panels in the roof.
"Plans include a huge partly underground eco-friendly theme park in the garden with the kids' favourite rides," the source added. "There's a massive pool, slides, tunnels, boat rides, a pirate island with a castle, a go-kart track and even an old-fashioned carousel.
"Brad has designed a mini train that goes around the whole grounds and it's going to go through a door at the side of the new structure and into the park."
Meanwhile, Angelina has hinted that she and Brad are considering working together again.
The pair previously starred in Mr. & Mrs. Smith and cinemagoers are eager to see them team up on a new movie.
While on the red carpet at the Oscars last night, Angelina confirmed she has been discussing a possible project with her long-term love.
"We're talking about it," she told E! Online. "We have an idea."
When quizzed on what type of movie they are planning to make, Angelina ruled out the idea of a romantic comedy.
"We don't know how funny we are," she smiled. "And you never know what you want to see an actual couple do. Sometimes it's better if they're not a couple."
Angelina also paid tribute to her late mother Marcheline Bertrand before the Academy Awards last night.
She explained that attending the Oscars always makes her think about her mom, because she was a huge fan of the event.
"[I remember] how much it meant to my mom, when she was alive. My mom always loved the show," she told MTV News.
