(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Josh Duhamel is to make a cameo performance on All My Children.

The American television show gave Josh his big break, thanks to his role as conman Leo du Pres. The final episode of the programme will hit screens this September and it's been announced Josh will appear in at least one episode in August.

"Everyone at All My Children is thrilled and excited to welcome Josh back to Pine Valley," said Julie Carruthers, All My Children's executive producer. "The appearance of Leo is sure to be one of the highlights of the season."

His character was thought to have passed away while battling to save Greenlee Smythe, portrayed by Rebecca Budig, during an accident. Although he was never seen again his body wasn't found.

During this three-year tenure on All My Children, Josh received four Daytime Emmy nominations, receiving the prize for best supporting actor in 2002.

After leaving he carved out a successful career in Hollywood, famously appearing in the Transformers franchise and Life as We Know It.

All My Children has seen many of its alumni carve out solid careers, with Ryan Phillippe and Kelly Ripa both previously appearing on it. (C) Cover Media
