Vicky Kaushal starrer Military drama 'Uri- the Surgical Strike' has achieved a milestone in quick time by becoming the first film of 2019 to enter the 100 cr club. The staggering weekend collections are the major reason for the film's success.
The film that also stars Paresh Rawal, Tisca Chopra, Yami Gautam and Mohit Raina stood strong in the second week as well and the shocker came from the first-week collection when the film raked 10 cr on Monday the highest Monday grosser in Bollywood. That's a big win for the makers as Uri raked a sum of 70 cr in the first week and experts and analyst are predicting that the film might end close to the 175 cr to 200 cr mark till 25 Jan with two big releases 'Thackeray' and 'Manikarnika' occupying shows in the coming weekend.
The total collections of the film now are 108.50 crore nett and it is only a matter of time that the film crosses the likes of 'Stree' and 'Badhaai Ho' as the film has a bigger reach than these films.
